Because Mommy had to be flat on her back for several hours, Skye's first feeding was interesting. Just before this picture, Mom's best friend Lisa showed Dad how to hold baby Skye above Mom's breast so she could latch on. In this picture, Dad is trying really hard to make sure Skye is properly latched to the nipple. Mommy knows she is...Skye was a champ at breastfeeding from her first try! |

Skye with her grandma Lenore, about 2 hours old. Lenore is Erica's mother. Lenore was also with Erica for her entire labor, so is quite relieved to see that her granddaughter is finally *outside* of her daughter. |
